What You Will Do

The Lead Developer – T3 will be a hands‑on technical contributor responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining AI‑enabled backend services and integrations. This role focuses on building scalable MCP‑based services, robust APIs, and secure integrations that support AI agents and enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers to enable standardized communication between AI models, tools, and enterprise systems.
• Build and maintain RESTful and/or event‑driven APIs to support AI agents, backend services, and external integrations.
• Collaborate closely with AI engineers, product owners, and architects to translate business and functional requirements into technical solutions.
• Implement backend services using best practices for performance, security, reliability, and scalability.
• Contribute to agent‑based and generative AI solutions, supporting orchestration, tool invocation, and contextual data access.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code following enterprise development standards.
• Use GitHub for source control, pull requests, code reviews, and CI/CD workflows.
• Participate in design reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across development and production environments.
• Stay current with evolving AI, API, and MCP ecosystem trends and apply relevant advancements where appropriate.

What You Will Need

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 to 8+ years of hands‑on software development experience in backend or full‑stack roles.
• 3+ years of experience in API development, including design, implementation, versioning, and integration.
• Hands‑on experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol) concepts or strong experience building extensible server‑side integration frameworks.
• Strong proficiency in at least one backend programming language such as Python, Java, Node.js, or C#.
• Experience developing secure, scalable services using modern software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.
• Practical experience using GitHub for:
  • Source control and branching strategies
  • Pull requests and peer code reviews
  • CI/CD pipeline integration
• Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g., OAuth 2.0, token‑based security).
• Experience working in agile development environments (Scrum/Kanban).
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

What Would Be Nice To Have

• Prior experience implementing or extending MCP servers in production environments.
• Experience working with agentic AI platforms, orchestration frameworks, or LLM‑based applications.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP, including managed services for APIs and backend workloads.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Exposure to CI/CD tooling and infrastructure‑as‑code practices.
• Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns and messaging systems.
• Experience working with observability tools (logging, monitoring, tracing).
• Prior experience in regulated or enterprise environments.
