Saaki, Argus and Averil Consulting seeks a Lead Design Engineer for substation projects in India and abroad. You will plan, review and deliver primary design work, lead a team, and coordinate with Civil and Secondary teams to ensure timely, on-budget, and quality-compliant outcomes.

You will prepare and review BOQ, material specs, and design basis reports, while supporting vendor selection, tender reviews, and site issue resolution.

• Strong knowledge of substation primary design including AIS/GIS layouts.
• Equipment sizing and selection.
• Electrical clearances and insulation understanding.
• Busbar schemes and earthing/lightning protection.
• Cable routing and coordination with Civil/Secondary engineering.
