Job Purpose

Lead - Design is responsible for shaping and executing the architectural vision for airport projects. This role focuses on creating innovative, sustainable, and functional urban spaces that align with the airport’s strategic goals. Key responsibilities include stakeholder engagement, master planning, technical oversight, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with environmental and industry standards.

Roles And Responsibilities

The Lead Design Architect will play a pivotal role in leading architectural design initiatives for real estate and hospitality projects. The position requires a Bachelor of Architecture from a reputed institute and a proven track record in conceptualising and overseeing mixed‑use developments, business parks, and retail spaces. The ideal candidate will have 15‑18 years of experience and possess exceptional skills in architectural design for hospitality‑led projects. This position will report to Head Design.

• Lead and oversee architectural design initiatives for hospitality‑led mixed‑use developments, business parks, and retail spaces.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of design concepts.
• Provide strategic guidance and innovative design solutions to enhance the aesthetic and functional aspects of projects.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, building codes, and sustainability principles in all design activities.
• Supervise and mentor junior architects to foster a collaborative and high‑performing team environment.
• Conduct regular site visits and participate in project meetings to monitor progress and address any design‑related challenges.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and methodologies to optimise project outcomes.

Qualifications

• 15‑18 years of experience in architectural design for real estate, mixed‑use and hospitality projects.
• Proven track record in leading full‑cycle projects from concept development to on‑site completion.

Education Qualification

• Bachelor of Architecture from a recognised institution.
• Preferred: B. Arch from reputed institutes such as CEPT University and School of Planning & Architecture (SPA).

Certification Required

No specific certifications required, but relevant certifications in architectural design are advantageous.

Technical Skills
