A leading financial information provider in Hyderabad seeks a Data Steward to manage metadata, lead data integration, and drive content efficiencies. Candidates should have 5-7 years of relevant experience, strong SQL skills, and be able to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment. The Team: Fundamentals Data Stewardship team works closely with Product, Sales, and Technology teams on driving fundamentals dataset strategy, prioritization, and project execution. This team takes ultimate ownership of the dataset by liaising and leading the definition and management of the data ecosystem, setting data policies, evaluating vendor data feeds, maintaining the standardization rules, and supporting Content Customer Success and Sales team in resolving client queries on fundamental data published across S&P Products.
The Impact: As part of the Data Stewardship Team, you will serve in the data lead and subject matter expert’s capacity leading, driving, and participating in the key initiatives to support our data management Strategy, Fundamentals Data Domain Projects, and other projects leading to content efficiencies, vendor management and deliver customer-first initiatives.

This role involves collaborating and interfacing directly with a diverse group of data operations, product, technology, legal, risk & compliance, and support groups during various stages of the project life cycle. The role also demands all-round – end-to-end involvement right from the foundational aspects of new ingestion processes to strengthening existing mature capabilities to scale.
