Job summary

S&P Global is hiring a Machine Learning Engineer to help us advance AI products and create new ML applications. You will transform data into useful features, build predictive models, and deploy scalable ML solutions that drive business value.

You will work with a team of Java and Python experts and ML engineers, applying NLP, computer vision, and generative AI techniques to information retrieval and extraction.

Qualifications

• 9+ years hands-on experience in AI/ML, Data Science.
• Knowledge of Python and related libraries.
• Ability to write robust and testable code and design software architecture.
• Understanding of ML techniques for feature engineering, data preprocessing, data structures and modeling.
• Strong understanding of AI technologies (Generative AI, NLP, CV) and their business applications.
• Hands-on experience leveraging language models for information retrieval.
• Deep understanding of feature engineering, statistics and ML algorithms (regression, classification, clustering, NN).
• Familiarity with AI platforms (TensorFlow, PyTorch), libraries (scikit-learn) and cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience with RDBMS and NoSQL databases.
• Experience in containers, cloud platforms, CI/CD, and deployments through CI/CD pipelines, and AWS services like S3, EKS, EC2.
• Proficiency in development environment (IDE, servers, GIT, Azure DevOps, unit testing, defect management).
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• BS or MS in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science or related field.

Team comprises of experts in Java and Python language and ML engineers.

Job Brief

We are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to help us improve our AI products and create new ML applications. ML Engineer responsibilities include transforming data into useful features using machine learning techniques to feed predictive algorithms. To succeed in this role, you should possess outstanding skills in statistical analysis, machine learning methods and feature engineering techniques. Your goal is to develop efficient self-learning AI applications.
