Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end ML projects deployments including feasibility analysis, design, development, validation and application of data science solutions.
• Deliver production-ready ML solutions through the software development lifecycle.
• Push state-of-the-art CV techniques to solve business problems (retail channel effectiveness, customer experience, Content Based Image Retrieval, video processing).
• Provide leadership to establish ML lifecycle management processes.
• Write production-ready code and deploy real-time ML models via APIs.
• Conduct hypothesis testing and design of experiments to analyze results.
• Collaborate with data/ML engineers and vendors for data pipelines and automation.
• Perform peer code reviews of ML work.

Experience

• Post graduate/graduate in Math, Computer Science, Statistics or related field with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience or Masters in Math, Computer Science, Statistics or related field.
• Over 7+ years of Applied Machine learning experience in the field of computer vision with experience in image segmentation, object detection, re-identification, semantic and instance segmentation, key point detection and object tracking algorithms.

Job Purpose

To design and build scalable AI/ML-driven data science products that enhance customer lifetime value, optimize retail partner profitability, boost contact center productivity, and improve customer satisfaction, while collaborating closely with cross-functional business and product teams across Marketing, Sales, Retail Finance, Digital Assets, and Merchandise lines to drive data-informed decision-making and high retail sales performance.

Role Description

• Lead and participate in end-to-end ML projects deployments that require feasibility analysis, design, development, validation, and application of state-of-the art data science solutions
• Need to deliver solutions to production through the software development lifecycle
• You will have to push the state of the art in terms of the application of computer vision techniques to solve complex business problems including but not limited to retail channel effectiveness (brick & mortar retail), customer experience measurement (gesture & facial recognition, vehicle number plate recognition etc based techniques), Content Based Image Retrieval, Video Processing (object detection & tracking, Surveillance), Augmented Reality (video chat-bot) based consumer behaviour research & insights generation
• Provide leadership to establish world-class ML lifecycle management processes.
• Write production ready code and deploy real time ML models; expose ML outputs through APIs.
• Hypothesis Testing and Design of experiments to analyse and monitor results.
• Partner with data/ML engineers and vendor partners for input data pipes development and ML models automation.
• Holding routine peer code review of ML work done by the team.
