Fidelity Investments Inc. is seeking a Lead Data Engineer (PLSQL, AWS Batch, Snowflake, Informatica) to design, build, and manage data platforms for institutional clients.

You will collaborate with product, architects, and stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions in a fast-paced Agile environment. You will lead data governance, drive cost optimization, and enable advanced analytics and AI/ML by delivering trusted data assets while mentoring senior engineers and promoting engineering

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT experience in distributed technologies.
• Graduate/Engineering degree required.
• Experience with Snowflake, AWS Batch, Informatica, and PLSQL/Oracle.

Job Title – Lead Data Engineer - (PLSQL Developer, AWS Batch, Snowflake, Informatica)

Are you interested in designing, building, and managing the technology platforms and products for Fidelity’s Institutional clients?

Fidelity Institutional Technology is looking for a Full Stack developer to join us in the design and development of innovative technology for financial advisors and their clients using the latest technology stack in a collaborative and engaging environment.

The Purpose of This Role

You will play a developer role in the agile development of the web applications used by thousands of Registered Investment Advisors and Correspondents to deliver comprehensive brokerage solutions to their customers, including account management, trading, compliance, market research, portfolio management, and margin lending.

Our development teams are highly collaborative and encourage creativity, innovation, and excellence.

You will be working with Product Leads, Technology Leads, Architects, and Project Managers across the team, as well as technical and business stakeholders across the organization in a fast-paced agile environment. You will have the opportunity to share your technical knowledge to help strengthen our engineering community and further pursue your own learning of new technologies and platforms.

• Lead Strategic Data Engineering Initiatives
• Drive the technical roadmap for data platforms, modernization programs, cloud migration, and data transformation initiatives.

The Skills that are Key to this role

Technical /Behavioral Principal Data Engineer

• Snowflake, AWS Batch, Informatica, PLSQL Oracle (or equivalent RDBMS) – exposure
• Continuous Integration & DevOps tools (Maven, Jenkins, GitHub, Jira, etc.)
• Experience with DevOps, Automated Testing and Continuous Delivery.
• Experience working in a Cloud environment using AWSDocker, Kubernetes or its equivalents.
• Working knowledge of UNIX, and shell scriptingPythonPerformance tuning (added advantage)
