Job summary

RELX INC is seeking a Team Lead, Scientific Discovery Platforms in Bengaluru. You will lead 5-10 data analysts across Reaxys and Embase, blending life sciences expertise with data analytics and AI-enabled tech. Drive data quality, discoverability, and customer relevance.

You will guide cross-functional teams, shape data pipelines, and oversee QA for API and search features, ensuring high-quality outputs for expert customers.

Qualifications

• Academic background (Masters/PhD) in Bioinformatics, Cheminformatic/Chemistry Biochemistry or allied fields.
• Strong data analysis and scripting skills using Python (Jupyter Notebook) and Bash.
• Collaborative mindset with cross-functional teamwork.
• Experience contributing to AI/GenAI-based testing frameworks and analytical workflows.
• Hands-on experience with relational/analytical databases like PostgreSQL.
• Experience working with large datasets on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Experience driving projects, coordinating stakeholders, and presenting results.

About the Role

You will lead a team of 5-10 experienced Data Analysts supporting multiple Life Science solutions, including Reaxys and Embase. Our work operates at the intersection of scientific domain expertise, advanced data analysis, and the adoption of AI-enabled technologies.

• Experience driving projects forward, coordinating stakeholders, documenting work, and presenting results.
