Job summary

Birlasoft seeks an Architect/ Lead Consultant (Global Trade Management) to relate product functionality to business processes and guide implementations across India. Responsibilities include GTM end-to-end delivery, client interaction, and cross-functional coordination across locations such as Bangalore, Pune, Mumbai, Noida, Hyderabad and Chennai.

The role requires experience in GTM, knowledge of trade processes, and integration basics with OTM/SOA ecosystems.

Qualifications

• Relate product functionality to business processes to advise on implementations.
• End-to-end GTM implementations: 3+ projects.
• Functional understanding of country-specific trade processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end GTM implementations on multiple projects.
• Interact with clients and stakeholders for project deliveries.
• Configure GTM modules with basic OTM understanding.
• Understand customs, FTZ and duty drawback processes.
• Work with GTM modules: Trade Compliance, Screening, Licenses.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and migrations.

1. 1. About the Job – Ability to relate the product functionality to business processes, and thus offer implementation advice to customers on how to meet their various business scenarios.

4. Key Responsibilities

1. 1. Having Experience of end-to-end GTM implementations (at least 3 projects)
2. 2. Manage Project account with techno-functional expertise on GTM Application (Must be functional understanding of countries specific trade process)
3. 3. Day to Day interaction with Client and Stakeholders for project deliveries, updates, and new Change Requests
4. 4. Configure GTM modules (Must be basic understanding of OTM)
5. 5. Understanding of Customs process/ FTZ/ Duty drawback process
6. 6. Well versed with GTM modules: Trade Compliance Management
   & Screening process, License Management, Declaration, Custom filing process, Trade Agreement, Trade Incentive Program Business Process Automation, Configuration and Administration
7. 7. Create Agent, Saved Queries, action checks, Custom Actions, Screen sets, Manager layouts, Workbenches, assigning user preferences, user favorites, export/import of CSV, XML, JSPX, XSL (Style sheets) Project migration, Account Policy, User Roles and Business Monitor
8. 8. Manage GTM Quarterly Upgrade with new feature implementations
9. 9. Integration with other modules like EBS, JDE, Fusion, SAP using integration layer Like OIC/Boomi/Mule soft/SOA etc.
10. 10. Responsible to gather Customer Requirement, Understand Supply Chain Business, create functional specifications, provide logic to technical team, prepare test data, conduct internal testing and user acceptance testing, go-live and support and related documentations.
11. 11. Co-ordinate with Stakeholders and internal team members on administrative processes.
12. 12. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
13. 13. Ability to think tactically as well as strategically while coordinating cross functional teams in a matrixed environment.
14. 14. Developing standards and processes, encouraging (or enforcing where necessary) the use of those standards and processes.
