This position is assigned responsibility to develop catastrophe model results as assigned, providing review of model outputs and analysis of their accuracy and integrity. This individual is responsible for the operation of simulation models, working under the supervision of the Manager and with the assistance and general oversight of the Manager(s) Natural Hazard Peril Underwriting. The incumbent is responsible for coordinating the collection of the most appropriate data to be used for the assignment. In addition, it is expected that this individual will work in close collaboration with other team members to identify and resolve issues relating to data quality and interpretation of the model output results. Interaction with various levels of Staff and Operations management, as well as direct coordination with Research, outside model providers and company brokers may be required for individual assignments.
