Job summary

BetaNXT is seeking a Lead Associate, Software Engg (Angular, nodeJs, AWS MEAN Stack) to architect and deliver modern cloud-hosted web applications. You will drive feature development with Angular 16+ and AWS, while guiding best practices across the team in a hybrid Bengaluru setup.

The role requires 4-6 years of hands-on coding, mentoring agile teams, and a strong track record of delivering quality software across the SDLC. Strong collaboration with product and design is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
• 4-6 years of professional, hands-on coding and software design experience.
• Experience leading and mentoring agile development teams.
• Proven track record of leading projects to completion on time.
• Experience with all phases of the software development life cycle and Agile software development.
• Solid software design knowledge to create extensible, reusable software that meets architectural objectives and security assessments.
• Proficiency in: Angular 19+, Dot Net, NodeJs, REST API Microservices, GitLab for code repository and CI/CD, Cursor.

Responsibilities

The Opportunity

BETA is a self-clearing securities processing solution for wealth management firms. Built on years of expert knowledge and hands-on experience, BETA provides critical back-office controls including corporate action management, middle office exception management, and front office account management and trading tools for advisors.

We are seeking a Technical Lead - Full Stack Development (Specialist) with hands-on development experience on B2B cloud-hosted web applications. In this role, you will primarily work with Angular 16+, AWS, NodeJs, DynamoDB, REST API Microservices. GitLab for repository and CI/CD. Experience with Dot Net Core, GraphQL, and OpenSearch is a plus. As a Technical Lead (Specialist), you will be responsible for architecting new features, developing features from scratch, refactoring existing code, reviewing code and design, enforcing secure coding practices, and overseeing developer architecture and code changes through to completion in a live production environment.

About the Team

Reporting to the Group Manager, Technology Development, this role is part of a Scrum team for developing customer facing cloud hosted UI application. This role necessitates meetings and require heavy collaboration within and across teams that are spread across geography. Our business model is hybrid, working from our Bangalore campus.

Your Experience
