Norsk Hydro in Jaipur, India, seeks a seasoned Accounts Payables lead to manage and grow the AP team. You will oversee invoice processing, T&E claims, vendor communications, and SLA adherence, ensuring timely payments and accuracy across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of work experience in finance (AP)
• Industry experience in BPO sector
• Education: B.Com/M.Com/M.B.A.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Accounts Payables team and manage day-to-day activities
• Review vendor reconciliations and perform AP quality checks
• Monitor workflow and daily targets to ensure timely SLA delivery
• Achieve process KPI targets such as payment on time
• Quality check deliverables before sending to clients
• Respond to client queries and handle first-level escalations
• Develop AP processes to improve productivity and quality
• Participate in pilot projects and knowledge transition
• Supervise and train junior staff and trainees
• Create back-ups for all tasks and track metrics

Role and responsibilities

ROLE PURPOSE:

This position is responsible to lead the Accounts Payables team.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day activities within the team – Invoice processing, T&E claims, vendor mailbox management and reporting.
• Reviews Vendor Reconciliation and performs AP quality checks.
• Monitoring and managing workflow or daily targets to assure timely delivery of agreed SLA’s.
• Meeting the Process KPI targets – Payment on Time, etc.
• Perform quality check on the deliverables follows before it is sent to the clients
• Respond to clients on any process related queries and manage 1st level escalations
• Develop AP processes to improve productivity and quality of the team.
• Participate in the new pilots projects & work towards proper transition of knowledge to team.
• Supervise and train junior staff or new trainees and encourage good follow up skills and work ethic.
• Creating back-ups for all the tasks
• Tracking and maintaining metrics for a variety of data includes attendance, productivity, etc.
• Work with manager to resolve any personnel problems or conflicts that may arise in the team.
• Identify trends within the portfolio to improve the productivity.

• Licensing/Certification: Chartered Accountant-is an advantage
