Job summary

Agentic AI is seeking a Lead AI Engineer to shape architectures and drive AI strategy for cutting-edge cloud security automation. You will architect Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions using RAG, Vector Databases, and LLM APIs to automate cloud configuration and compliance tasks.

Qualifications

Lead Artificial Intelligence Engineer | Agentic AI | RAG | Cloud Security | Remote India

We're looking for a Lead AI Engineer to drive AI architecture and strategy for next-generation cloud security automation.

In this role you'll architect Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions using RAG, Vector Databases, and LLMs to automate cloud configuration, security policy generation, compliance validation, drift detection, and remediation.

You'll play a key technical leadership role in shaping AI enablement initiatives, designing scalable and extensible frameworks, and leading a globally distributed engineering team.

Location: Remote - India

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• AI Architecture & Strategy
  • Architect Generative AI workflows using RAG, Vector Databases, and LLM APIs to automate cloud configuration requirements, Rego policies, and Terraform module generation.
  • Design scalable AI service architectures and extensible frameworks for cloud security tooling.
  • Drive AI enablement strategy and technical direction across cloud security initiatives.
• Cloud Security Automation
  • Lead the development of AI-powered capabilities for continuous cloud discovery, configuration drift detection, and compliance gap analysis.
  • Accelerate security response and remediation through intelligent automation.
• Policy & Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Automate the generation and validation of compliant Terraform modules, Rego policies, and Regula test cases.
  • Enable integration of policy validation and compliance checks into CI/CD pipelines.
• Technical Leadership
  • Lead AI enablement initiatives for the Cloud Security Tooling team.
  • Drive technology programs and collaborate with global stakeholders.
  • Mentor engineers and lead a distributed, asynchronous, follow-the-sun engineering team.

MUST-HAVE REQUIREMENTS

• AI Architecture & Strategy - Critical Requirement
  • Proven ability to architect Generative AI solutions and drive AI strategy and technical direction.
  • At least 2 years of experience developing Agentic AI solutions using LLMs, RAG, and Vector Databases.
  • Hands-on experience with LLM platforms and models such as OpenAI or Anthropic.
• Software Engineering & Cloud
  • 6+ years of software engineering experience developing applications and services hosted on public cloud infrastructure.
  • 2+ years of experience with cloud infrastructure deployment pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Technical Leadership
  • Proven experience developing technology strategy and driving technical programs within a global organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor engineers in a distributed, asynchronous, follow-the-sun environment.

NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS

• Hands-on experience with AI orchestration frameworks such as LangChain and LangGraph.
• Experience writing Rego policies using Open Policy Agent (OPA) or developing Regula test cases.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform.
• Familiarity with cloud-native security services across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Familiarity with PagerDuty, Atlassian Suite, and ServiceNow.
• Experience in Cloud Security or DevSecOps.
