Job summary

Fractal is seeking an experienced Azure Lead Architect to design, build, and modernize cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure for enterprise clients. You will lead architecture engagements, define cloud strategies, and guide cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure cloud environments.

The role emphasizes end-to-end solution ownership, collaboration with DevOps, Security, Data, and Applications teams, and mentoring teams on cloud best practices.

Qualifications

• 12+ years IT experience with 6+ years Azure architecture and implementation.
• Strong expertise in Azure services such as Azure App Services, AKS, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Azure DevOps, ARM/Bicep/Terraform templates.
• Deep understanding of cloud networking, identity, governance, and security principles.
• Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
• Strong background in enterprise application design and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with cloud cost optimization and FinOps practices.
• Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert) preferred.
• Prior client-facing consulting experience.
• Knowledge of other cloud platforms like AWS or GCP is a plus.
