Job summary

JPMorgan Chase in Hyderabad is seeking a Lead Data Architect to shape our data strategy within the Home Lending division. You will drive architecture governance, evaluate new technologies, and mentor engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable data solutions across cloud-native platforms.

The role requires extensive experience in data architecture, cloud, AI/ML, and tooling such as ERWIN and Hackolade, with hands-on delivery and an independent, proactive approach.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on Data Architect concepts and 5+ years applied experience in data domain
• Formal training or certification on Data Architect concepts and 10+ years applied experience in data domain.
• Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages, applications, and architecture.
• Advanced knowledge of software architecture, applications, and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.).
• Familiarity with data engineering tools, including spark,flink, streaming services, ETL/ELT tools, and analytical tools.
• Experience with AI/ML models especially Generative AI and agentic AI frameworks.
• Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight.
• Practical cloud-native experience.
• Ability to evaluate current and emerging technologies to select or recommend the best solutions for the future state architecture.
• Proven experience as an information architect or in similar capacity and data architecture tools, eg ERWIN, HACKOLADE

• Influence peers and project decision-makers to consider the use and application of leading-edge technologies.
