The role covers architecture reviews, project governance, and building an AI Center of Excellence, while mentoring data scientists, ML engineers, and developers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Engineering or related field.
• PhD or Master’s in AI/ML is preferred for leadership roles.
• Proven experience building enterprise AI solutions at scale.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable AI/ML solutions aligned with business goals.

We are hiring the "AI & ML Team Lead", who is responsible for driving the organization's Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning strategy, architecture, delivery, and team leadership. The role requires an equal balance of hands‑on technical expertise (50%) and people/project management capabilities (50%). The candidate will lead AI initiatives from ideation to production, manage cross‑functional teams, and ensure business value realization through AI‑driven solutions.

Job Description:

AI/ML Solution Architecture & Development

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI/ML solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Lead end-to-end machine learning lifecycle including data preparation, model development, validation, deployment, monitoring, and optimization.
• Architect cloud-based AI platforms using Azure AI, AWS AI/ML, or Google Cloud AI services.
• Develop predictive analytics, recommendation engines, NLP, Computer Vision, Generative AI, and Agentic AI solutions.
• Ensure model performance, scalability, reliability, and security.

Generative AI & LLM Implementation

• Lead implementation of Large Language Models (GPT, Llama, Claude, Gemini, etc.).
• Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.
• Develop AI agents, copilots, prompt engineering frameworks, and knowledge management solutions.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and establish best practices.

MLOps & AI Governance

• Establish MLOps pipelines for CI/CD, model versioning, monitoring, and automated retraining.
• Define AI governance, responsible AI practices, model risk management, and compliance standards.
• Ensure AI solutions comply with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.

Technical Leadership

• Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and solution assessments.
• Define AI technology roadmap and innovation strategy.
• Provide technical guidance to Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and AI Developers.

50% Managerial Responsibilities

Team Leadership & People Management

• Build, mentor, and lead high‑performing AI/ML teams.
• Conduct performance management, coaching, career development, and succession planning.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Manage hiring, onboarding, and retention of AI talent.

Program & Delivery Management

• Manage multiple AI projects and ensure on‑time, within‑budget delivery.
• Define project scope, milestones, KPIs, resource allocation, and risk mitigation plans.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders, technology teams, and executives.
• Track and report project progress, business value, and ROI.

Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary point of contact for AI initiatives.
• Translate business problems into AI‑driven solutions.
• Present technical concepts, project outcomes, and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Build relationships with vendors, partners, and external stakeholders.

Strategy & Innovation

• Define enterprise AI strategy and roadmap.
• Identify AI opportunities that drive business transformation and competitive advantage.
• Establish AI Center of Excellence (CoE) frameworks and operational models.
• Drive adoption of AI across business functions.

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Preferred: PhD/Master's in AI/ML/Data Science.

Experience

• Min 8+ years of IT/Data Analytics experience.
• Min 5+ years of hands‑on AI/ML development experience.
• Min 3+ years of leadership or people management experience.
• Experience leading enterprise‑scale AI transformation programs.
