Job summary

Optum India is seeking an experienced AI/ML architect to design and deliver conversational AI solutions using Google Dialogflow across platforms, building voice bots, and enabling seamless human handoffs in enterprise environments.

You will lead technical teams, implement DevOps/MLOps practices, integrate AI systems with backend services, and mentor engineers while aligning with company security and policy requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years in software architecture or AI/ML, including 2 with Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with Google DialogFlow, ADK, Vertex AI, and LLMs.
• Proficient in Python, Java, or Go.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of conversational AI and voice solutions using Google Dialogflow across platforms like Genesys and AWS Connect
• Build and optimize voice bots and virtual agents, ensuring high-quality NLU, speech processing, and seamless human handoffs
• Develop and enhance AI/ML models and LLM-based capabilities, including use of Gemini Enterprise CX (GECX) for advanced conversational intelligence
• Implement real-time communication solutions using LiveKit for streaming voice interactions
• Integrate AI systems with backend services, APIs, and enterprise platforms (CRM, data systems)
• Establish scalable architectures, DevOps/MLOps practices, and performance monitoring frameworks
• Lead technical teams, drive best practices, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver improved customer experiences

Required Qualifications

• Proficient in Python, Java, or Go

Preferred Qualifications

• Google Cloud certification
• Experience with generative AI and prompt engineering
