Genpact in India is seeking a Lead AI Engineer to design, develop and deploy enterprise AI agents and copilots using Microsoft Copilot Studio. You will translate complex business requirements into scalable AI solutions, driving governance, deployment, and operational excellence across PoC, Pilot, and Production lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, engineering or related field.
• 8+ years in AI, automation, software engineering, analytics or enterprise app development.
• Hands‑on Microsoft Copilot Studio development, deployment, admin, and support (mandatory).
• Experience delivering AI/agent solutions in enterprise environments.
• Strong Python, automation frameworks, and solution orchestration skills.
• Knowledge of data engineering, data integration, cloud platforms, and enterprise architecture.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, problem‑solving, and solution design.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Lead AI Engineer with deep expertise in Microsoft Copilot Studio, Agentic AI solutions, enterprise AI architecture, and Python‑based automation, along with strong knowledge of data integration, cloud technologies, and AI governance. The candidate will be responsible for leading the design, development, and deployment of AI‑powered agents and copilots, driving enterprise AI strategy, and translating complex business requirements into scalable and secure AI solutions. This role will lead the successful delivery of AI initiatives across the PoC, Pilot, and Production lifecycle while ensuring operational excellence, solution scalability, and business value realization. The ideal candidate will work closely with clients, business leaders, architects, and cross‑functional technical teams to define AI roadmaps, provide technical leadership, mentor engineering teams, and drive innovation through cutting‑edge AI and automation solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise‑grade AI agents and copilots using Microsoft Copilot Studio.
• Drive AI solution delivery across the complete lifecycle, from PoC, Pilot, and Production while ensuring scalability, governance, and adoption.
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to translate complex requirements into AI, automation, and agentic solutions.
• Oversee agent operations including monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and production support.
• Develop and review Python scripts, APIs, integrations, and data workflows required to support AI solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, solution guidance, and best practices to project teams and junior engineers.
• Create and maintain architecture documents, technical designs, operational runbooks, and deployment documentation.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in AI, automation, software engineering, analytics, or enterprise application development.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio development, deployment, administration, and support (mandatory).
• Proven experience delivering AI, conversational AI, copilots, or agent‑based solutions in enterprise environments.
• Strong proficiency in Python, automation frameworks, and solution orchestration.
• Working knowledge of data engineering concepts, data integration, cloud platforms, and enterprise architecture.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, problem‑solving, and solution design capabilities.
