Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an AGL cum electrical designer with extensive airport experience to lead layout development, lighting, substations, and airfield systems. You will prepare AutoCAD drawings, model designs in Revit BIM, and coordinate with teams using Navisworks.

Strong writing and consultancy exposure are essential, with a focus on domestic and international airports. The role offers full-time employment with a salary aligned to qualifications, a hybrid work model, and a benefits package

Qualifications

• Min 8 years of design experience in domestic and international airports.
• Helipad lighting design experience is required.
• Consultancy experience in Scheme and Detailed designs.
• Prepare drawings in AutoCAD (latest version).
• Modeling of AGL designs in Revit BIM (latest version).
• Review and coordination in Navisworks.
• Prepare design documents and presentations in MS tools.
• Possess good writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of AGL layouts.
• Develop apron utility designs including high mast lighting and electrical layouts.
• Design CCR hall substations and other airport buildings.
• Design perimeter lighting and airfield electrical systems.
• Conduct electrical calculations (earthing, lightning protection, short circuit, etc).
• Coordinate design work and review with project teams.

We are looking for min 8-year experience AGL cum electrical designer to perform the following activities.

• Preparation of AGL layouts
• Developing of apron utility designs (including high mast lighting and electrical layouts)
• Designing CCR hall substations and other airport buildings
• Designing of perimeter lighting
• Developing of airfield electrical systems
• Sound knowledge in electrical calculations (earthing, lightning protection, short circuit, etc...)
• Knowledge in electrical lighting and power system software’s

Here’s what you'll need

• The candidate shall have min 8-years of design experience in domestic and international airports. Helipad lighting design experience is also needed.
• B. Tech or B.E in electrical and electronics engineering
• Consultancy experience in Scheme and Detailed designs
• The candidate shall be able to prepare drawings in AutoCAD (latest version)
• Modeling of AGL designs in Revit BIM (latest version)

• The candidate should have good oval and writing skills.
