GE Grid Solutions is seeking a Lead AC Control Automation System Engineer to lead design, testing, and deployment of digital control systems for HVDC substations. You will ensure high availability and protection of people and equipment while coordinating with a global engineering Centre of Excellence.
You will work within an international team, assume responsibility for technical delivery, and contribute to FATs, integration, and commissioning activities with moderate travel (~10%).

As a Lead AC Control Automation System Engineer, you will report to the Control & Protection Engineering Manager and will be part of a highly motivated and dynamic team of engineers working on the requirement, design, integration, installation, and commissioning of HVDC Control & Protection Systems.
Lead AC Control Automation Engineer scope covers design, testing and deployment support for digital control system of our HVDC substations. Our system controls and monitors the transmission of energy, to guarantee the high availability of the substation as well as to protect people and equipment.
