Job summary

Kadel Labs – Startup Studio is seeking a Lead Engineer – MERN Stack to spearhead design, development, and delivery of scalable web applications.

The ideal candidate will lead a development team, architect robust back-end services with RESTful APIs and microservices, and build responsive front-ends with React. Strong leadership and end-to-end delivery experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Lead the design and development of full-stack web applications using the MERN stack.
• Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.
• Mentor and guide developers through code reviews, technical discussions, and best practices.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver features on time.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Node.js and Express.js.
• Develop responsive and reusable front-end components using React.js.
• Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.
• Integrate third-party APIs and cloud services.
• Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and technical documentation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and ensure application reliability.

RequiredSkills

• Strong experiencewith MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.
  
• Experience withRedux, React Hooks, Context API, and state management.
  
• Strong knowledgeof REST APIs, JWT authentication, OAuth, and API security.
  
• Experience withGit, GitHub/GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines.
  
• Understanding ofmicroservices architecture and scalable backend development.
  
• Experience withDocker and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  
• Knowledge of unittesting frameworks such as Jest or Mocha.
  
• Experience withNext.js is an added advantage.
  
• Familiarity withGraphQL is a plus.
  
• Experience workingwith Redis, RabbitMQ, or Kafka is preferred.
