Job summary

Jubilant Pharmova Limited in Roorkee, Uttarakhand, seeks an analytical chemist to perform trace impurity analyses using LC-MS/MS and GC-MS/MS. You will develop, validate, and optimize methods, prepare samples, and generate technical reports ensuring GMP/GLP compliance.

Required are 3–6 years of hands-on LC-MS/MS and GC-MS experience, postgraduate/graduate in pharma or chemistry, and willingness to relocate. Six days working and readiness to relocate to Roorkee are expected.

Qualifications

• M. Pharma / B. Pharma / M.Sc. in Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry required.
• 3–6 years hands-on LC-MS/MS and GC-MS analysis experience.
• Knowledge of GMP/GLP and data integrity guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis using SCIEX Triple Quad 5500 LC-MS/MS and Agilent 7010B GC-MS/MS for trace impurities and related studies.
• Operate, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain LC-MS/MS and GC-MS/MS systems.
• Develop, optimize, and execute analytical methods per approved protocols.
• Prepare samples, standards, and analytical solutions.
• Process and review data using Analyst software and prepare technical reports.
• Ensure GMP/GLP compliance and data integrity; support method validation and regulatory submissions.

Job description

Role & responsibilities:

• Perform analysis using SCIEX Triple Quad 5500 LC-MS/MS and Agilent 7010B GC-MS/MS for trace-level impurity, nitrosamine, genotoxic impurity, and extractable/leachable studies.
• Operate, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain LC-MS/MS and GC-MS/MS systems.
• Develop, optimize, and execute analytical methods as per approved protocols.
• Prepare samples, standards, and analytical solutions.
• Process and review data using Analyst software and prepare technical reports.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, data integrity requirements, and applicable SOPs.
• Support method validation, verification, transfer, and regulatory submissions

Preferred candidate profile:

M. Pharma / B. Pharma / M.Sc. (Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry)
Experience: 3-6 years of hands-on experience in LC-MS/MS and GCMS analysis.
