Job summary

EverTrust Legal in Mumbai invites a full-time, in-office internship for law students to gain hands-on experience across civil and commercial litigation. You will attend courts, assist during hearings, conduct legal research, and draft pleadings, notices, and agreements, supporting the team throughout case preparation.

You will participate in client meetings, review documents, manage case lists, and coordinate with clients, advocates, and counsels.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed LLB/BA LLB degree.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Available for full-time, in-office internship in Mumbai.

Job description

About the internship:

• 1. Attend and visit different courts and forums across Mumbai.


• 2. Assist the team during court hearings.


• 3. Conduct legal research.


• 4. Draft pleadings, correspondences, notices, agreements, etc.


• 5. Assist the team in ancillary litigation processes.


• 6. Aid in case preparation and organization for court proceedings.


• 7. Attend client meetings and take detailed notes.


• 8. Assist with document review and management.


• 9. Provide general administrative support to the team as required.


• 10. Coordinate with clients, advocates, counsels, etc.


• 11. Read and comprehend case documents and prepare lists of dates and events.
