Job summary

• In-depth knowledge of object-oriented PHP and Laravel 6 framework.
• Hands-on experience with MySQL schema design, REST API design.
• Testing experience with PHPUnit, PHPSpec, and Behat.

Responsibilities

• Develop, record and maintain cutting edge web-based PHP applications on portal plus premium service platforms
• Collaborate with UX team to build innovative, state-of-the-art applications
• Prepare and maintain all applications utilizing standard development tools
• Utilize backend data services and contribute to data service APIs
• Follow the full web app development life cycle from concept to delivery
• Coordinate with co-developers and keep the project manager informed
• Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in web development
• Convey progress, evaluations, schedules and issues clearly
• Work with MYSQL and optimize queries to ensure performance
• Implement and test RESTful APIs and services

Job description

• Develop, record and maintain cutting edge web-based PHP applications on portal plus premium service platforms
• Build innovative, state-of-the-art applications and collaborate with the User Experience (UX) team
• Prepare and maintain all applications utilizing standard development tools
• Utilize backend data services and contribute to increase existing data services API
• Follow the entire web application development life cycle right from concept stage to delivery
• Convey effectively with all task progress, evaluations, suggestions, schedules along with technical and process issues
• Coordinate with co-developers and keeps project manager well informed of the status of development effort
• Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in web development
• Previous working experience as a Laravel developer for 3-5 years
• Knowledge in Apiato framework will be added advantage
• In depth knowledge of object-oriented PHP and Laravel 6 PHP Framework
• Hands on experience with MYSQL schema design, SOLID principles, REST API design
• Software testing (PHPUnit, PHPSpec, Behat)
• MySQL profiling and query optimization
