Job summary

Model Rural Health Research Unit, Corlim, Goa, is seeking a Laboratory Technician (Project Technical SupportIII) for a 24‑month project. Two positions are available at Corlim, Goa, to support MRHRU research activities in the field.

Essential qualifications include a three-year graduate in a relevant field or PG, with relevant laboratory experience. Desirable skills cover biosafety, QC procedures, and accurate record-keeping and data entry to ensure quality and traceability.

Qualifications

• Three-year graduate in relevant subject/field (paramedicalscience/ Public Health/Laboratory techniques) + 3 years of experience OR PG in relevant subject/field.
• Knowledge of laboratory techniques, biosafety practices, quality control procedures, and operation of laboratory equipment.
• Proficiency in maintaining laboratory records, data entry, and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory investigations and diagnostic assays as per study protocols.
• Assist in collection, processing,storage, and transportation of biological specimens.
• Maintain laboratory records, equipment, and consumable inventory.
• Ensure biosafety, quality assurance, and laboratory documentation.
• Support MRHRU research projects' laboratory activities.
