A leading quality assurance company based in India is looking for a skilled individual to join their team as a Textile Testing Technician. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering, or a Diploma in Textiles, and at least 2–3 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include implementing ISO standards, conducting tests, and maintaining laboratory operations. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in English are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years in a textile testing laboratory, experience with Accreditation Body Audits is an advantage.
• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 requirements and familiar with textile standards.
• Able to conduct tests for Colour Fastness, Flammability, Fiber Content.

Responsibilities

• Implement the management system and ISO/IEC 17025.
• Conduct tests according to international standards/client specific methods.
• Maintain operation of each testing team and complete testing samples on time.

Job Description

• Implement the management system and ISO/IEC 17025;
• Carryout tests according to international standards/client specific method;
• Troubleshoot problems that arise during testing, seeking help from the manager if necessary;
• Involve in testing capability development under supervision of senior staff;
• Maintain the operation of each testing team;
• Complete the PT/ILC samples on time without any outliers;
• Complete the regular samples testing on time and maintain the TAT;
• Involved in the selection and acceptance of new instruments and equipment, as well organize/conduct the acceptance of consumables;
• Involved in operation, maintenance, calibration / verification, performance check, and/or intermediate check of equipment in textile testing lab;
• Finish other tasks assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering, or Diploma in Textiles.

Training: Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 requirements; Textile Testing training preferred.

Technical Knowledge: Familiar with textile standards; able to conduct tests for Colour Fastness, Flammability, Fiber Content, and selected tests in the Physical Department.

Experience: 2–3 years in a textile testing laboratory; experience with Accreditation Body Audits is an advantage.

Skills: Strong communication skills, accurate typing, and general computer proficiency.

Language: Fluent in written and spoken English.

Other Attributes: Strong technical knowledge, analytical mindset, and logical thinking.
