Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up laboratory equipment and experiments as per curriculum requirements
• Assist students and faculty during practical sessions
• Maintain, clean, and calibrate laboratory instruments and apparatus
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and inventory of lab materials and equipment
• Follow and enforce laboratory safety protocols and guidelines
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and coordinate repairs when required
• Maintain records of lab usage, equipment logs, and inventory
• Support research and project work as needed
• Strong understanding of physics laboratory practices and procedures
• Basic technical knowledge of laboratory instruments and tools
• Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and students

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Engineering / Technology in the relevant branch (Physics or related field) with First Class or equivalent

Professional Certifications

• Relevant certifications in laboratory management or safety (preferred but not mandatory)

Professional Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a physics laboratory or similar role
