Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist faculty in conducting laboratory practicals for B.Tech students in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
• Prepare, set up, operate, and maintain laboratory equipment and experimental setups.
• Provide technical assistance to students during labs and project work.
• Maintain and troubleshoot basic electronic circuits and lab instruments.
• Maintain laboratory records, stock registers, equipment records and inventory of components.
• Support faculty and researchers in projects and prototyping.
• Assist in operation and maintenance of ECE laboratories (VLSI, Embedded Systems, Digital Electronics, Electronics Devices).
• Ensure proper handling, storage and maintenance of components and equipment.
• Conduct routine checks of instruments and report faults or maintenance needs.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety of laboratories at all times.
• Assist in audits, procurement-related activities and preparing technical records.

We are seeking a dynamic, skilled, and proactive individual for the position of Laboratory Instructor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE). The role involves supporting laboratory practicals for B.Tech. students, assisting faculty members in academic and research activities, and ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of departmental laboratories.

The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing and maintaining laboratory setups, handling electronic components and instruments, managing laboratory inventory and records, assisting students and faculty during practical sessions, and ensuring adherence to laboratory safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist faculty members in conducting laboratory practicals for B.Tech. students in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
• Prepare, set up, operate, and maintain laboratory equipment, instruments, electronic components, and experimental setups.

• Assist in laboratory audits, equipment verification, procurement-related activities, and preparation of technical records.

Essential Qualifications

• Diploma / B.Tech. / B.E. / M.Sc. in Electronics / Electronics and Communication or a closely related discipline from a recognized University/Institute.
• Sound practical knowledge of electronic circuits, laboratory instruments, and measurement techniques.
• Familiarity with instruments such as Digital Storage Oscilloscopes (DSO), Function Generators, Digital Multimeters, Power Supplies, and other electronic test and measurement equipment.
• Basic knowledge of digital electronics, analog electronics and embedded systems.
• Ability to prepare, operate, and maintain laboratory setups and experimental equipment.
• Ability to assist faculty members and students during academic laboratory sessions and project/research activities.
• Good troubleshooting, organizational, and technical support skills.

Experience in an academic/research laboratory, particularly in Electronics and Communication Engineering, will be an added advantage.
