Synechron is seeking an L2 Production Support Engineer with 4 years of experience in software development, technology platforms, and technical support. The role will support the analysis, troubleshooting, enhancement, and maintenance of technology solutions across platforms such as mobile, cloud, IoT, and blockchain. The successful candidate will work with cross-functional teams to understand technology requirements, investigate technical issues, support software delivery, review code, and help maintain solution quality. The role will contribute to business objectives through timely issue resolution, reliable technical support, effective documentation, and continuous improvement of software solutions.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand technology requirements and design solutions that meet business needs. Provide L2 technical support by investigating, troubleshooting, and assisting with the resolution of application and technology issues. Develop technical specifications and detailed documentation for new features, enhancements, support procedures, and technical resolutions. Write, test, and deploy software solutions or enhancements as required by the project. Stay current with technology trends and advancements across mobile, cloud, IoT, blockchain, and related platforms. Suggest practical ways to incorporate relevant technology improvements into existing solutions. Conduct code reviews to support code quality, maintainability, and adherence to development standards. Participate in the resolution of technical issues and provide technical support to team members. Collaborate with testing teams to ensure software solutions are thoroughly tested and meet defined quality standards. Support SDLC activities, Agile delivery practices, release coordination, and production support processes. Prioritize incidents, enhancement requests, defects, and technical tasks according to business impact and agreed service expectations. Contribute to reliable, maintainable, and resource-efficient solutions through appropriate design, troubleshooting, and optimization practices.
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required; equivalent relevant education and professional experience may be considered. 4 years of experience in software development, technology support, or a related technical discipline. Demonstrated experience with one or more of Java, Python, or Node.js, along with SDLC, Agile methodologies, Git, JIRA, and Confluence. Certifications in cloud, software development, Agile delivery, cybersecurity, IoT, blockchain, or related technology areas are preferred but not mandatory. Maintain continuous professional development in relevant technology platforms, programming, production support, troubleshooting, Agile delivery, and modern software engineering practices.
Apply structured analytical thinking and problem-solving to investigate technical issues, identify root causes, and support effective resolutions. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and provide practical technical support to team members. Communicate technical concepts, requirements, risks, progress, and resolutions clearly in written and verbal formats. Adapt to new technologies, changing requirements, evolving support priorities, and different technology environments. Identify opportunities to improve software quality, support processes, automation, maintainability, and the use of emerging technologies. Take initiative, prioritize incidents and development tasks, manage time effectively, and meet agreed delivery and support commitments.
