Key Responsibilities

L1 Support Engineer

• Monitor and maintain Sophos and Fortinet firewalls for performance and security.
• Resolve L1 support tickets for connectivity, access policies, and basic configurations.
• Analyze firewall logs and escalates complex issues to L2 engineers.
• Assist in managing user access, VPNs, and firewall rules.
• Document configurations and incident reports.
• Provide professional support to stakeholders.

L2 Support Engineer (Includes L1 Duties)

• Troubleshoot complex firewall issues, including configurations and security breaches.
• Optimize firewall policies, NAT, IPS/IDS, and VPN settings.
• Respond to security incidents like malware or DDoS attacks.
• Manage firmware updates and security patches.
• Collaborate on network integration with routers and switches.
• Train L1 engineers and generate performance reports.
