Job summary

Cloudxtreme seeks an experienced Kinaxis RapidResponse administrator to manage data integration, user access, and system health within a complex supply chain planning environment. You will configure data sources, mappings, and data models while coordinating with ETL teams for clean data flow.

The role requires 3–10 years in supply chain/planning, knowledge of NetChange vs Full Imports, and hands-on administrative duties including upgrades and performance monitoring.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–10 years of experience in Supply Chain management/Planning.
• Strong knowledge of Kinaxis RapidResponse and its data integration concepts.
• Experience configuring data sources, mappings, and data models in Kinaxis RR.
• Ability to design data extraction logic and scheduling for data updates.
• Collaboration with ETL teams to ensure cleansed data in the correct format.
• Knowledge of migrations between environments using RPK/IPK.
• Background as a system and data administrator and managing user permissions.
• Kinaxis Certification preferred or Level 1 certification.

Responsibilities

• Configure data sources and mappings in Kinaxis RapidResponse.
• Develop source/destination field mappings.
• Customize data models within Kinaxis RR.
• Define data extraction logic from source systems to Kinaxis.
• Schedule data updates and synchronization between DIS and PS post-transform.
• Coordinate with ETL teams to ensure cleansed data is loaded correctly.
• Validate data in staging tables.
• Decide when to use NetChange vs Full Imports.
• Set up tolerances for files and monitor data updates.
• Trace data issues with historical files.
• Follow best practices for migrating changes between environments (RPK/IPK).
• Administer user permissions and overall system performance.
• Install or upgrade Kinaxis RapidResponse as needed and monitor memory.

Role & responsibilities

Minimum 3 - Max 10 years of experience in Supply Chain management/Planning domain and have good knowledge on advantages of concurrent planning system

• Knowledge on various integration activities in Kinaxis RapidResponse, including but not limited to:
• a. Configuring Data Sources and Mapping between various systems and Kinaxis RR.
• b. Development of source and destination field mappings
• c. Data Model customizations
• d. Provide logic & specifications for extraction of data from source systems to Kinaxis
• e. Providing the logic and scheduling system tasks for the data update, data extraction and synchronization process between DIS and PS post any transformation activities in Kinaxis RapidResponse.
• f. Interact with ETL teams to ensure cleansed data comes into Kinaxis RapidResponse in the correct format
• g. Data Validation in Staging Tables
• h. Know when to use NetChange Vs Full Imports
• i. Setting up tolerances for files and tables and monitoring data updates
• j. Tracing data issues with respect to historical files
• k. Knowledge on best practices to be followed during migration of changes from one environment to the other via RPK/IPK

• Experience as an administrator for setting up users with the required permissions based on the rolls
• Experience as a system & data administrator responsible for managing system performance and installing DTC and backing up database
• Responsible for configuring global settings for the RapidResponse system
• Installing or upgrading RapidResponse and upgrading DTC whenever required
• Monitoring system memory consumption
• Kinaxis Certification preferred/required Level 1 certifications
