Job summary

Paytm Payments Services is seeking a driven sales leader to expand QR & Soundbox adoption across multiple locations. You will grow distribution, recruit and coach a sales team, and ensure strong execution of market plans.

The role requires extensive travel, strategic planning, and hands-on leadership to scale merchant engagement and revenue. The ideal candidate should have graduate credentials, proven team leadership, and a growth mindset, with a track record in field sales and market expansion

Qualifications

• Graduate or higher degree required.
• Experience leading a sales team and driving revenue growth.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned area.

Responsibilities

• Grow distribution and market share in the assigned area of operations.
• Achieve visibility and accountability through extensive QR & Soundbox deployment and product sales.
• Identify and recruit the sales team to align and drive business in the market.
• Coach and mentor the team, and quickly apply new ideas and concepts.
• Plan the market size, span and geographies for FSE.
• Communicate plans and targets to the team to minimize the expectation vs delivery gap.
• Monitor the quality parameters as directed by management.
• Validate and audit acquisitions and sales conducted by the team.
• Ensure the team operates in markets where sales and usage occur regularly.
• Demonstrate strong networking capabilities and willingness to travel extensively throughout the specified area.

The person should be capable of increasing the sale of QR & Soundbox through proper channels to the merchants across multiple locations.

Expectations/Requirements:

• 1. Grow Distribution and Market share in the assigned area of operations.
• 2. Visibility Accountability through Extensive QR & Sound box deployment and sale of the product.
• 3. Identify and Recruit the sales team to align and drive business in the market.
• 4. Skilled in coaching and mentoring, a quick learner who grasps and puts into application new learned ideas and concepts.
• 5. Plan the market size, span and geographies for FSE.
• 6. Should be able to devise the best methods for communication of plans/targets to the team so as to minimize the expectations vs delivery gap.
• 7. Monitor the Quality parameters as suggested by the management.
• 8. Validate and conduct the audits on the acquisitions and sales done by the team.
• 9. Ensure the team members are in the market where sales & usage are done regularly
• 10. Should have good networking capabilities and be willing to travel extensively throughout their specified area.
