Job summary

Paytm Payments Services is seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to accelerate QR & Soundbox adoption among merchants in Indore and surrounding areas. You will lead a field sales team, mentor reps, and drive market expansion through strategic deployment and relationship-building.

The ideal candidate is a graduate with proven team leadership, strong networking, and a growth mindset, willing to travel extensively to meet targets and expand Paytm's merchant footprint.

Responsibilities

• Grow Distribution and Market share in the assigned area.
• Achieve visibility through extensive QR & Soundbox deployment and sales.
• Identify and recruit the sales team to drive business.
• Coach and mentor the team; learn and apply new concepts.
• Plan market size, span and geographies for FSE.
• Communicate plans/targets to the team to minimize delivery gaps.
• Monitor quality parameters as directed by management.
• Validate and audit acquisitions and sales by the team.
• Ensure the team operates in markets with regular sales and usage; travel extensively.

About the role:

The person should be capable of increasing the sale of QR & Soundbox through proper channels to the merchants across multiple locations.

Expectations/ Requirements :

• Grow Distribution and Market share in the assigned area of operations.


• Visibility Accountability through Extensive QR & Sound box deployment and sale of the product.


• Identify and Recruit the sales team to align and drive business in the market.


• Skilled in coaching and mentoring, a quick learner who grasps and puts into application new learned ideas and concepts.


• Plan the market size, span and geographies for FSE.


• Should be able to devise the best methods for communication of plans/targets to the team so as to minimize the expectations vs delivery gap.


• Monitor the Quality parameters as suggested by the management.


• Validate and conduct the audits on the acquisitions and sales done by the team.


• Ensure the team members are in the market where sales & usage are done regularly 10. Should have good networking capabilities and be willing to travel extensively throughout their specified area.
