Job Summary

Oversee the end-to-end sales process of smart meter orders, ensuring seamless coordination between internal teams and external stakeholders. Securing Orders and managing project timelines, deliverables, and quality standards to meet customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Sales
  • Lead customer engagement and securing orders from key customers in the region
  • Identifying key personnel at customer organisation to enable favourable decision making
  • Top line accountability for the region
  • Achieving or exceeding Sales target
Market Intelligence
  • Monitor industry trends and competitors
  • Map customer needs to inform product strategy and roadmap
  • Provide valuable inputs for pricing strategy
Order Execution
  • Monitor order execution progress and identify critical activities
  • Facilitate regular team meetings and address challenges
  • Coordinate with internal teams for GTP preparation, GA drawings, and prototype samples
  • Manage prototype submission, testing, and approval Coordinate with customer for manufacturing clearance and delivery schedules
  • Followup and realization of advance payment if applicable
  • Track and monitor manufacturing processes
Customer and Stakeholder Management
  • Provide regular project status updates to customers and Management
  • Address execution concerns and raise issues to management Coordinate with DISCOMs and customer for inspections and dispatch instructions
Payment Recovery
  • Collaborate with logistics for meter dispatch and document preparation in line with dispatch instruction
  • Coordinate with finance for invoicing Ensure timely payment collection from the customer based on the contractually agreed payment terms
