Job summary

NexXerver in Hyderabad, India is seeking a Junior Systems Administrator – Linux to join our enterprise applications support team. Freshers with strong Linux skills will work on SAP, Java, and Python-based applications. The role depends on skills, aptitude, and business needs.

Responsibilities include maintaining Linux-based servers, monitoring health, troubleshooting OS issues, supporting deployments, and documenting incidents. Night/weekend on-call shifts are part of the rotation.

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of Linux — command line, file system hierarchy, permissions, process management, networking basics, shell scripting, and package management.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work in 24/7 rotational shifts including nights and weekends.
• Qualification: B.Sc Computer Science, M.Sc Computers, BCA, MCA, B.Tech in IT/CS, or a related discipline.
