Job summary

Alembic Pharmaceuticals in Vadodara invites a skilled professional to join our pilot plant scaleup and production support team. You will assist in scaling processes from lab to pilot plant, monitor process parameters, and maintain batch records in compliance with regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate holds a B.Sc. in Chemistry or a Diploma in Chemical Engineering/Chemistry with about 13 years of pharma scaleup experience, plus knowledge of GMP, API manufacturing, and wet-lab techniques.

Qualifications

• BSc in Chemistry or Diploma in Chemical Engineering/Chemistry.
• 13 years pharma industry experience in pilot plant scaleup and production.
• Knowledge of API manufacturing processes, GMP practices, and regulatory compliance.
• Handson exposure to wet lab techniques, process equipment, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Pilot plant scaleup: Assist in scaling up processes from lab to pilot plant, ensuring reproducibility and efficiency.
• Production support: Provide hands-on support in production activities, including batch execution and monitoring.
• Process monitoring: Track process parameters, record observations, and ensure adherence to SOPs.
• Analytical support: Work with QC/ADL teams to support analytical requirements during scaleup and production.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate batch records, logbooks, and reports in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Safety compliance: Follow EHS guidelines and ensure safe handling of chemicals and equipment.
• Crossfunctional collaboration: Coordinate with R&D scientists, production teams, and QC for smooth project execution.
