Job summary

KONE is a global leader in the elevator and escalator industry and seeks a Quality Engineer to analyze developmental tests, perform inspections, and document results to uphold quality standards and environmental policy.

You will collaborate with Quality Engineers and Production Supervisors, conduct audits, support corrective actions, ensure ISO 9001/ISO 14001 compliance, and contribute to continuous improvement and sustainable practices within the organization.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 quality standards.
• Experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Familiarity with quality audits and process inspections.
• Ability to communicate quality issues with engineering and production teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze developmental tests and interpret results for new or modified products.
• Perform product and process inspections as directed.
• Write reports on quality measurements and inspection results.
• Coordinate with Quality Engineer and Production Supervisor on quality issues.
• Support corrective action programs through root cause analysis.
• Participate in supplier and internal audits of processes.

Job description

• Documents, analyzes, performs, and interprets developmental tests for new and/or modified products or product components according to quality policies and procedures.
• Perform product and process inspections as directed.
• Write reports regarding quality measurements, inspections, etc. Record inspection results.
• Communicate with Quality Engineer and Production Supervisor on Quality issues and continuous improvement.
• Perform root cause analysis as necessary to support KONE Corrective Action Program.
• Perform auditing activities of full chain including customer service, engineering, manufacturing, logistics etc.
• Know, respect and make others respect the KONE Quality and Environmental Policy.
• Comply with all ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 requirements.
• Comply with all the KONE environmental Aspects.
• Known of all the significant environmental aspects that contribute to the carbon footprint, also support to achieve the goals.
