Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy seeks an EHS Officer for a pharmaceutical/chemical plant in India. The candidate must hold an Advance diploma or Post diploma in safety and possess work permit experience to uphold stringent safety standards at a manufacturing site.

Ideal education includes B.Tech/B.E. in Chemical or B.Sc in Fire and Safety; 3-10 years of related experience in a formulation pharma plant is preferred. This position requires hands-on safety leadership and compliance oversight.

Qualifications

• Must have worked with work permits in chemical/pharma plants.
• Diploma related to EHS required.
• Safety program implementation and incident prevention experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure plant safety and regulatory compliance.
• Review and approve work permit procedures and risk assessments.
• Coordinate with safety teams to maintain GMP/industry safety standards.
