We are seeking a highly motivated Junior DevOps Engineer to join our growing engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for supporting automation, deployment pipelines, infrastructure provisioning, and monitoring, while collaborating with developers, QA, and operations teams. This role provides an excellent opportunity to work with modern DevOps tools, cloud platforms, and CI/CD processes in an enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or equivalent tools.
• Manage source code repositories (Git, Bitbucket) with proper branching and versioning strategies.
• Support containerization efforts using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Collaborate with the team to implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible.
• Work with AWS/Azure cloud services for provisioning, scaling, and monitoring infrastructure.
• Assist in setting up and maintaining monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (e.g., Splunk, DataDog).
• Troubleshoot build, deployment, and infrastructure-related issues.
• Write and maintain shell/bash scripts for automation of recurring tasks.
• Participate in agile processes, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and JIRA task tracking.
• Ensure system reliability, availability, and performance by following best DevOps practices.
