ABB is seeking an experienced OT cyber security specialist for our Process Industries Division in AMEA. The role focuses on designing resilient industrial systems, aligning with cyber security standards, and supporting regional sales teams in building a robust cyber security pipeline.

The position is hybrid, requiring collaboration with sales, bid, proposals, and service teams to deliver high-quality digital security solutions for industrial assets and operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in OT / software industry with a focus on cyber security.
• Enhanced knowledge of SCADA/Industrial Control Systems (ICS) architecture design.
• Strong communication in English and collaboration with regional/country teams.
• Cyber security certifications such as IEC 62334 specialist, GISCP or equivalent.
• Familiarity with security standards like NIST, ISO 27001 or similar.

Responsibilities

• Act as a high-level technical expert translating customer requirements into cyber security solutions.
• Provide digital solution design and guidance for cyber security across sales, proposals and projects.
• Support customer cyber security risk assessments for industrial assets, aligned with security methodology.

Your Role And Responsibilities

The work model for the role is: hybrid

This role is contributing to the Division Process Industries in AMEA. Main stakeholders are sales, bid & proposals and service teams.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Acts as a high-level technical expert, providing knowledge and analysis of customer requirements to ensure our cyber security solution matches customer objectives.
• Provide digital solution design and guidance for cyber security consistently at high quality to a sales, proposals and project teams.
• Support and consult on customer cyber security risks toward industrial assets, in compliance with cyber security requirements and security risk assessment methodology.
• Coordinate with regional and country sales teams to support them in their business development effort and drive the cyber security sales pipeline.

Qualifications for the role:

• You are skilled in OT cyber security and you enjoy working in the mining, cement, pulp and paper, and metals markets.
• You have 5+ years of experience in OT / software industry with a focus on cyber security.
• You possess an enhanced knowledge of SCADA and Industrial Control Systems (ISC) including architecture design.
• You are passionate about providing customer value and are eager to expand our OT cyber security knowhow.
• You have a degree in engineering, computer science or a related technical field.
• You are at ease communicating in English.
• You hold a cyber security certification such as IEC 62334 specialist, GISCP or similar and are familiar with cyber security standards such as NIST, ISO 27001 or similar.
