Job summary

SysCloud is seeking a Junior Cloud Security Engineer to safeguard cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and web apps. You will assist in monitoring security tools, analyzing alerts, and supporting compliance initiatives in Hyderabad.

The role requires 1–2 years in cloud security, exposure to AWS, Python or Bash scripting, and familiarity with container security. A competitive, market-aligned compensation package is offered.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with Docker and container security fundamentals.

• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Manage IAM policies, security group rules, and access control configurations in AWS environments.
• Monitor and triage security alerts from AWS security services and SIEM platforms.
• Conduct vulnerability scanning, security assessments, remediation tracking, and patch management activities.
• Review security findings from CI/CD pipelines, container scans, and code analysis tools.
• Triage, investigate, and document the security incidents.
• Contribute to internal security documentation, runbooks, and compliance evidence collection.
• Perform access request reviews and user provisioning/deprovisioning workflows.
• Support endpoint and workstation security management operations.
• Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to communicate security requirements, findings, and remediation actions.
