Job summary

Avwebworld Pvt Ltd in Khandwa is seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer to plan, design, supervise, and execute micro irrigation and OMS related works. You will conduct surveys, prepare BOQs, review drawings, and coordinate with project teams to ensure quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Strong understanding of civil construction practices, structural engineering principles, and site execution.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Excel, and other engineering software is preferred.
• Knowledge of estimation, BOQ preparation, quantity surveying, and project documentation.
• Familiarity with irrigation infrastructure, pipelines, hydraulic structures, and water resource projects will be an added advantage.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and supervise civil engineering works for Micro Irrigation and OMS projects.
• Conduct site surveys, topographical surveys, and feasibility studies before project execution.
• Prepare project estimates, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), quantity calculations, and cost estimates.
• Review engineering drawings, layouts, structural details, and construction plans.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, contractors, vendors, and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Supervise construction activities and ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion within the approved budget.
• Inspect construction materials and workmanship to maintain quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
• Resolve on‑site technical challenges and provide effective engineering solutions.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project progress reports.
• Verify contractor measurements, work completion reports, and billing documents.
• Support procurement activities by identifying material requirements and monitoring inventory.
• Conduct quality inspections and implement quality assurance procedures throughout project execution.
• Assist in testing, commissioning, and final handover of completed civil works.
• Identify project risks and recommend preventive and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with the design and operations teams to improve project efficiency and performance.
• Maintain complete technical documentation and project records.
• Ensure proper implementation of safety practices at construction sites.
