Exciting Opportunity for Junior Associate in Environmental Litigation

The Chambers of Adv. Ashwin Kumar is inviting applications from dynamic and passionate legal professionals for the position of Junior Associate – Litigation in Chennai. This role offers an incredible platform to gain hands‑on litigation experience, working on impactful environmental law matters and regulatory disputes before prestigious judicial and quasi‑judicial forums, including the Hon’ble National Green Tribunal (NGT) and the Hon’ble High Court.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct independent and rigorous legal research, draft pleadings, and prepare comprehensive case briefings.
• Assist lead counsel in court hearings, regulatory proceedings, and strategic client meetings.
• Manage end‑to‑end legal documentation, court filings, procedural compliance, and advisory matters.
• Gain direct, practical exposure to cutting‑edge environmental litigation and regulatory mandates before the NGT, High Court, and other forums.

Candidate Eligibility & Qualifications

• Experience: 0–1 years of PQE. Fresh graduates with strong relevant internship exposure are welcome to apply.
• Education: LL.B. degree. An LL.M. in Environmental Law or prior litigation experience is strongly preferred.
