Job summary

Guidehouse India is hiring for EBO Accounts Receivable in India. The role involves initiating calls to check claim status, contacting insurers about denials, and taking corrective actions to resolve accounts while ensuring HIPAA compliance.

We value graduates with strong communication, ability to work night shifts, and typing speed above 25 WPM. MS Office skills are preferred, and confidentiality is required across all processes.

Responsibilities

• Initiate calls requesting status of claims in queue.
• Contact insurance companies for explanations of denials and underpayments.
• Take appropriate action on claims to guarantee resolution.
• Ensure accurate and timely follow-up where required.
• Document actions taken in claims billing summary notes.
• Prioritize pending claims from aging basket and make calls following confidentiality and HIPAA rules.
• Work on Denials, Rejections, LOAs and make required corrections to claims.
• Abide by the organization’s information security policy and protect information assets.
• Report security incidents related to information to concerned authorities.

What You Will Do

• Initiate calls requesting status of claims in queue.
• Contact insurance companies for further explanation of denials and underpayments
• Take appropriate action on claims to guarantee resolution.
• Ensure accurate and timely follow-up where required.
• Document actions taken in claims billing summary notes
• To prioritize the pending claims for calling from the aging basket To make a physical call by following the international norms and applicable rules for confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Responsible for working on Denials, Rejections, LOA's to accounts, making required corrections to claims.
• Shall understand and abide by the organizations’ information security policy and protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of all information assets.
• Shall report incidents related to security of information to concerned authorities.
