Job summary

Aditya Birla Group is seeking a Junior / Assistant Engineer - Power Plant Mechanical to support maintenance and overhauls of rotating and static equipment in our Chemicals division.

You will assist in shutdown planning, ensure lubrication and equipment health, monitor condition, and follow safety and permit-to-work protocols across the plant.

This role offers hands-on mechanical work in a power plant environment, requiring attention to detail, reliability, and strict adherence to safety standards.

• Perform maintenance, overhauling, alignment, assembly, and dismantling of rotating and static equipment.
• Attend mechanical breakdowns and ensure timely restoration of equipment.
• Follow safety procedures, permit-to-work systems, and housekeeping standards.
• Assist in shutdown planning and major overhaul activities.
• Ensure proper lubrication of equipment and monitor equipment health.
• Carry out routine inspection and condition monitoring of power plant equipment.
