Job summary

PHENSA is seeking a junior Architectural Draftsman to join our engineering team. The position requires strong AutoCAD expertise and a background in architectural drafting for Oil & Gas/Offshore/Marine sectors.

You will create detailed 2D drawings, GA layouts, and material take-offs while ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications. Collaboration with engineers and senior designers is essential.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of drafting experience in Oil & Gas/ Offshore/ Marine industries.
• Mandatory proficiency in AutoCAD 2D.
• Basic understanding of industry codes, standards, and documentation practices.
• MTech/BTech/Diploma in Mechanical/Civil Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 2D drawings and models for architectural projects using AutoCAD.
• Develop GA drawings and layouts for walls, ceilings, flooring, and insulation.
• Prepare door/window schedules, sections, and elevations per project specs.
• Translate calculations and stakeholder needs into technical blueprints.
• Generate Material Take-Offs (MTOs) and material lists for procurement.
• Coordinate with engineers and senior designers to resolve technical discrepancies.
• Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and project requirements.
