Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Architecture or related field from a recognized institution.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai for a Junior Architect / Architectural Assistant. The role involves supporting senior architects with concept development, preparing design drawings, and developing detailed architectural plans. Daily tasks include drafting and revising drawings, assisting in preparation of presentations and documentation, coordinating with internal project teams and external consultants, and visiting sites to understand construction progress and resolve design-related issues. The Junior Architect / Architectural Assistant will also help with material selection, preparing schedules, and ensuring design intent is maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Strong architectural design and drafting skills, with proficiency in industry-standard design and CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar).
• Ability to prepare clear drawings, layouts, and basic 3D visualizations, and contribute to design presentations and reports.
• Solid understanding of building materials, construction methods, and local building codes and standards.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail in both design and documentation.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with architects, engineers, contractors, and site teams.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Architecture or a closely related field from a recognized institution.
• Willingness to work on-site in Chennai, with flexibility to visit project locations and adapt to fast-paced project environments.
• Prior internship or up to 2 years of experience in an architectural or construction firm is an advantage.
