Role Description

This is a project basis Junior Architect role based in Kottayam with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some flexibility for working from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in the development of architectural concepts, preparing drawings and 3D models, and supporting the creation of design presentations. The Junior Architect will help with coordination of design details, contribute to integration of structural and services inputs, and assist in documentation needed for permits and construction. The role also involves collaborating with project teams, maintaining organized project files, and supporting project management tasks such as tracking progress and communicating with internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to develop plans, sections, elevations, and conceptual diagrams.
• Basic understanding of Software Development and Integration as they relate to design tools, workflows, and digital collaboration platforms.
• Exposure to Project Management principles, including scheduling, task tracking, and coordination with multidisciplinary contributors.
• Proficiency in relevant design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, or similar), and familiarity with visualization tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent qualification, with a portfolio demonstrating academic or internship projects.
• Ability to travel to site from Kottayam to Thodupuzha, manage time effectively, and collaborate with team members both on-site and remotely.
• Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and readiness to support multiple projects simultaneously.
