Job summary

Tata Communications Limited is hiring for a Network Security Operations professional focused on Anti-DDoS. You will monitor 24x7 security operations, analyze attacks, and coordinate with customers and internal teams.

Role requires B.E./B.Tech, 2–8 years in security operations, and CCNA/CEH certifications. Relevant tools include Arbor, Radware, Akamai, Cloudflare, Incapsula, and F5.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech or equivalent full-time degree is required.
• 2-8 years of experience in Network security / Cyber security operations (preferably Anti-DDoS).
• Active CCNA / CEH certification or any security-related certification is required.

Responsibilities

• 24x7 shift operations for Managed Security Services in Anti-DDoS; monitor and analyze incidents.
• Analyze DDoS attacks, mitigate and notify customers.
• Troubleshoot issues using defined processes to drive closure.
• Communicate with customers via phone, email and web portal to ensure satisfaction.
• Handle tickets through internal tools within SLAs.
• Coordinate with technical staff and vendors to resolve issues timely.
• Hands-on with Anti-DDoS products (Arbor/Radware/Akamai/Cloudflare/Incapsula/F5).

Major Responsibilities

• 24 x 7 Shift Operations for Managed Security Services in supporting Anti-DDoS operations.
• Analyze DDoS attacks, engaging mitigation and performing customer notifications
• Troubleshoot issues using defined process and standard methodologies and drive them to closure
• Communicate with customers over phone, email and web portal to ensure issues are handled to their satisfaction
• Handle tickets through the internal tool within committed SLAs
• Working closely with technical staff in different domains to handle cross-functional activities and issues
• Work with vendors to resolve internal and customer issues in a timely manner
• Technical skills:
  

Strong knowledge in TCP/IP, Subneting, Networking / Routing (BGP), ACL, Netflow, IPSEC / GRE tunnels,
Good Knowledge in Cyber Security Landscape (including DDoS attack types, vulnerabilities and preventive measures)
Candidates with Knowledge in web application vulnerabilities / attacks (OWASP) , Regex, IPS Signatures, python scripting are preferable
Candidate should have hands-on in either of the Anti-DDoS products such as Arbor / Radware / Akamai / Cloudflare / Inperva Incapsula / F5, etc.
Should have good communications skills (both verbal and written)

Qualifications

B.E / B-tech or equivalent full time degree.

2-8 Years of experience in Network security / Cyber security operations (preferably in Anti-DDoS Operations).

Should hold an active CCNA / CEH certification / any other security related certification.
