Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 1–3 years in Android development.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Programming: Working knowledge of Kotlin and/or Java.
• Tools: Familiarity with Android Studio, Android SDK, and basic Git usage.
• APIs & Databases: Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and SQL/NoSQL databases (SQLite, Room).
• UI/UX: Understanding of Android design principles, XML layouts, and/or Jetpack Compose basics.
• Soft Skills: Eagerness to learn, problem-solving, teamwork, and clear communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Android app features under guidance from senior developers.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA to implement well-defined tasks.
• Write clean, readable code following team standards; fix bugs identified by QA.
• Integrate REST APIs and connect app screens to local/remote data sources.
• Profile and optimize app performance, memory usage, and battery consumption.
• Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback.
• Write basic unit tests and assist with manual testing of new features.
• Continuously learn Android best practices, libraries, and tools.
• Maintain clear documentation for the code and features you build.
